About Me
David Newby grew up on welfare, moved 47 times by the time he was 17, got laid off from his first full time job at age 23 as a newly wed, got fired from his second job at age 25, and semi-retired at the age of 32.
Along the way to success he failed in 9 different businesses, and he learned many valuable financial lessons he wishes young people were taught in school. Now he helps other people serious about prosperity to create the kinds of lives they want and to leverage all their assets to their fullest potential.
He is NOT a financial planner; he is the anti-financial planner. He argues you shouldn’t pay your house off, you shouldn’t be in most mutual funds, and you shouldn’t save for retirement in a 401K or IRA…. that is, unless you want to retire broke like most people do.

David – did you grow up in Wisconsin? I am trying to figure out if you are the David Newby I met many years ago when we were teens. If it is you, we met a hospital in Oshkosh or Appleton. If this is you, you better write back to me ok! I am happy to see you doing so well now. Just amazing!

Holly- yes I DID grow up in Wisconsin! 2nd thru 6th grade and 12th grade I lived in Beloit. My senior year I dated a young lady from Oshkosh. You still in WI? I know the Rich Jerk guys, so I find your “AllianceAgainstRichJerk” very intriguing. 🙂 I just replied to your blog post on video marketing- check out my new music video “Another Bank Bites The Dust” at my video blog http://www.UltimateWealthTV.com and tell me what you think! Thanks for your kind words, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
